Counselling / Individual Therapy appointments using mental health care plan (1 hour)
$193.99 when using a Mental Health Care Plan session. $81.90 rebate on hour sessions when utilising a mental health care plan. How to access the Medicare rebate.
Counselling / Individual Therapy appointments using NDIA package (1 hour)
$193.99. Travel may be charged to provide services to participants home.
Support work
Prices may vary depending on the type of support work provided. Life Mental Health charge at full rate of NDIA price guide for all support work sessions. Life Mental Health have a minimum 3 hour support shift time.
Group Sessions 25 week DBT program
$193.99 per session for participants utilising mental health care plan for funding. Life Mental Health utilise group activities in a centre line item for participants using their NDIA package to access services and cost is dependant on number of group participants.
Participants utilising a mental health care plan will be eligible to claim 10 rebates per calendar year at $37.15 per session attended.

Medicare provider number
To access the Medicare rebate for counselling sessions individuals must be referred to Slav by their General Practitioner (GP). Simply see your GP and explain that you would like a referral to see a mental health social worker under a mental health care plan.

Cancellations and missed appointments
A fee equal to your normal consultation fee will be incurred if you do not give at least 24 hours notice or fail to attend your appointment (excluding emergencies and circumstances beyond your control).
Payment methods
Life Mental Health accepts EFTPOS, credit card or cash payments. Participants can also be invoiced for sessions and direct deposit their payment.
