Rebecca Czapnik
Individual Therapist - Somatic Practitioner
Rebecca is a Somatic Practitioner with 15+ years experience exploring the mind-body connection. She brings a calm, non-judgmental energy allowing wellbeing to develop through safety and trust.
She focuses on regulating the nervous system and processing trauma through somatic (mind-body) practices that incorporate movement and touch to amplify the benefits of traditional psychology and psychotherapy.
Rebecca’s approach is collaborative. Clients participate to build capacity for change in the body (and therefore mind and heart). As neural pathways transform, traumatic experiences repattern into something more life affirming. The relationship with self and others evolves.
Rebecca has worked across diverse communities with veterans, incarcerated women and at-risk youth and conditions such as addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD.
Options with Rebecca include a one-off therapy session focused on relaxing the nervous system or integration. Or embarking on a deeper exploration with sequential sessions cultivating safety, trust and comfort in the body.
