Community Support Work

Life Mental Health staff provide a wide range of individual and group support work services catered to the needs/goals and passions of our participants. At Life Mental Health we have a focus on exploring our client’s goals and empowering them to utilise their strengths and skills to engage in their goals in a meaningful way.

Life Mental Health prides itself in being one of the only services on the coast who have support staff trained in delivering DBT skills training and follow up. This means that participants in DBT groups can get additional benefit from their regular support work sessions where they can review their DBT skills and learn to apply them in real life situations with the support of trained professionals.

Life Mental Health have a wide range of practitioners and support workers with different backgrounds and areas of expertise and interest. Check out our meet the team page to view options for support work and individual therapy.

Life Mental Health staff are primarily trained to support individuals with cognitive disabilities and mental health conditions.
